Insurance Management

FILE A CLAIM

Once we have inspected to verify damage on your property you will need to call your insurance company and provide them with your date of loss and reason for claim.
Once you have submitted your claim you can let your insurance company know that you have selected a contractor record your claim number, adjuster and contact information, and provide authorization to your insurance company for our claims specialist to speak with them regarding your claim.
Your insurance company may have already performed an inspection of the property. In some cases, a reinspection may be need if the insurance estimate does not include the necessary scope of work to restore your home. Your claims specialist will be present at the time of insurance reinspection.
RoofexPro will communicate with the adjuster to be sure the insurance estimate includes all damages and includes all necessary items to bring your home to current code requirements. A supplement may be submitted to the insurance company if they write an incomplete estimate.
Once the claim has been settled, you will be able to select the details and accessories for your project (colors, styles and any upgrades that you may authorize outside of the scope of the insurance settlement).

SUPPLEMENTS

Once the claim has been settled, you will be able to select the details and accessories for your project (colors, styles and any upgrades that you may authorize outside of the scope of the insurance settlement).
Our production team will contact you to schedule the project. At the end of the project you will sign a Completion Certificate to indicate that the scope of work has been fulfilled.
Our staff will submit the Completion Certificate and any other required paperwork to your insurance company, so that recoverable depreciation can be released. You may ask for the payment to be sent directly to RoofexPro, LLC if you wish to expedite the process.
Your warranty and completion packet will be mailed upon receipt of the final payment.
Our staff will contact you to schedule a tentative star date and you will receive updates regarding your material delivery and project schedule. Your project will have a dedicated coordinator who will manage the pre-installation paperwork and communication with you.

PAYMENT PROCESS

WHAT PAYMENTS AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Typically, the only out of pocket cost is the deductible, unless you would like to upgrade any components to your existing home or any additional work is required to restore the property, but was not directly impacted by the storm event. The checks that are issued by the insurance company can be paid directly to RoofexPro, LLC and will be paid in stages.
Actual Cash Value check is paid when the claim is initially written. This is for the claim amount, less your deductible and the Depreciation. Recoverable Depreciation – This is the amount insurance companies withhold until the work has been performed and it is calculated based on the replacement cost and life expectancy or depreciated value of the items we are repairing. Supplement – sometimes the insurance company will issue a separate check for supplemental payments, based on the supplements we submit.
If your insurance company wrote an incomplete estimate, RoofexPro experts can submit a supplement for the items that we’re missing or incorrect. Your estimator will work directly with your adjuster to provide the photo documentation and cite code requirements, if needed.
